A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
There is secure bicycle parking in the underground parking lot of UWinnipeg's athletic building. Access to the parking facility requires a key fob. There are showers and lockers in the athletic building. There is also a student-run bike repair shop on campus that offers free service as well as bike repair training for people on campus and in the community. https://theuwsa.ca/uwsa-bike-lab/

All buildings have short-term bike parking available, and McFeetor's Hall has secure bike storage available for residents.

UWinnipeg is committed to developing our campus in support of active transportation by upholding Complete Streets principles. A brief description of the mass transit programs:
The U-Pass is a universal bus pass program where full-time students pay a reduced fee at the beginning of each term and receive a bus pass that is valid for the Fall and Winter Term (September – April). With a U-Pass, all students at the University of Winnipeg are able to access Winnipeg Transit services any time, anywhere across the city.

A brief description of the carpool/vanpool program:
The University of Winnipeg has participated as a funding partner in the province-wide GoManitoba rideshare service, which allows users to find carpooling partners, as well as active transportation "mentors" for guidance in using bicycle/public transit routes to the University.
