The CSO coordinates ECO Team UWinnipeg, a student sustainability ambassador program focusing on outreach, engagement and creating opportunities for taking action on environmental issues. In the past year, students have hosted a "Where's Your Greenspace" activity at the University's week-long, annual health and wellness fair, conducted binside education efforts, and promoted our annual sustainability festival "Grass Routes."

Interested students are on the Eco Team mailing list and get invites to our events. All students are welcome to the core planning meeting which currently have roughly 10 students involved.
A brief description of the formal training that the student educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
We conducted a one-hour lunch training in face-to-face communication, postering, tabling, and waste disposal/reduction practices in September. A CSO staff member works with all Green Ambassadors on their first shift tabling/waste educating.
