Sustainability Competency

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
In 2014, the University of Winnipeg has adopted sustainability as a core leadership competency as part of the development of a competency framework for the institution. This has allowed UWinnipeg to make clear expectations regarding organizational sustainability within our organization and established clear expectations about behaviours and qualities that employees are expected to demonstrate in support of the University's sustainability mission. The competency provides a clear framework for the delivery of sustainability-related training for all staff at the University while establishing clear performance expectations related to sustainability throughout the organization.
