No

A brief description of the open access APC fund:

No, Western University no longer supports an OA fund because it was only able to support a very small number of authors, and was not a sustainable model for supporting OA. Western Libraries does support OA publishing through memberships with publishers and organizations that provide discounts on APCs. Using funds to support memberships is a more sustainable model as it supports OA infrastructure, and is becoming more common in many institutions rather than OA publishing funds.
