OP-T2-33: Cash-out of Parking
Communications and Training Officer
Physical Plant and Capital Planning Services
Does the institution allow commuters to cash out of parking spaces (i.e., it pays employees who do not drive to work)?:
A brief description of the program:
Although the University of Western Ontario does not allow commuters to cash out of parking spaces, free parking is not offered anywhere on campus. The pricing of parking at Western, we believe, serves as a financial disincentive for commuters to drive to campus.
