Does the institution meter all energy consumption (electricity, natural gas, purchased steam, etc.) for at least one building?:
A brief description of the metering system:
At Western, all purchased energy and its sources (e.g., natural gas) are currently being metered and meters are installed inside the buildings, where they can be read. They are also connected to the Building Automation System (BAS), which displays and (in some cases) records those readings every 15 seconds. Then, trends and graphs are created and presented for different uses.
