Most divisions at UWG require 20 hours of professional development of their staff. UWG subscribes to a resource service that offers many different professional development opportunities that count towards those 20 hours. A good number of these are focused on sustainability, ranging from courses, such as one on Environmental Management Systems, to videos, such as Skills Needed to Solve Sustainability Problems and Trends in Sustainability Efforts.
On the development home page, each month has a different theme in terms of development suggestions. Sustainability is occasionally the featured theme.
