Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Space data is based on classifications developed through Ontario’s common university reporting system and reported through the Council of Ontario Universities. For comparability with other institutions, Laboratory space included space classified by COU 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, and 3.2; Healthcare Space included COU Category 13.1 and 20.1; and other energy intensive space included areas classified for audio visual studios and storage, communications equipment rooms, computer equipment/hardware, electrical equipment, electrical/mechanical equipment, elevator equipment and elevators, food facilities, kitchenettes, large specialized equipment, laundry, mechanical equipment, printing/binding facilities, and projection/control rooms.

The data referenced here is for the most recent period for which information is available (2020). However, given the significant changes during 2020 due to the pandemic, many of the credits used in this report (for example OP2, 5, 18, and 21) use 2019 performance data to be more representative. This is further noted in the description of each of those credits.
