The Sustainability Action Fund supports projects that advance the objectives of the Environmental Sustainability Strategy. Applications can be submitted from any student, staff, or faculty member. The fund has, to date, supported approximately $475,000 in project opportunities.

The distribution of funding is decided upon by the President’s Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability based on a public call for proposals/applications. Applications are screened based on the likely impact of the project (whether it is academic, operational, or engagement impact), its likelihood of success, whether consultations/approvals have been completed or initiated, and the proposed budget.
