The Sustainability Office holds a session each year as part of the annual Staff Conference, highlighting a particular sustainability topic, theme, or resource that would be of interest to employees. In 2017, the session focused on sustainable food choices in collaboration with the campus dietitian, in 2018 on the University’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy, and in 2019 on sustainable transportation choices with panelists from the City of Waterloo and Region of Waterloo transportation departments.
