A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new faculty and staff are offered an online "Welcome Day" orientation that includes information on the U-PASS program and other commuting alternatives to driving, while highlighting the importance of reducing single-car commuting. The online Welcome Day includes an entire module on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the UW.
There is also a follow-up self-guided online program, One UW, which includes a section with information on sustainability and links to UW resources.
