Yes

A brief description of the plan:

In 2011, the League of American Bicyclists recognized the UW as one of the top Bicycle Friendly Universities in the country for its work providing excellent bike parking and for sponsoring popular community events such as May’s Bike to Campus Month and November’s Ride in the Rain competition. Transportation Services at the University of Washington has a full-time position dedicated to active transportation as a commute option, this includes both bicycling and walking planning, operations, policies and events.
The University has strong partners with local active transportation agencies such as Cascade Bicycle Club and Feet First. The Associated Students of the University of Washington have their own student-run bicycle shop on campus. The University’s transportation department works closely with Seattle’s Department of Transportation to create better-engineered roads and paths for cyclists, such as the recent addition of painted sharrows around campus and bicycle greenways around the University District. The University is taking an active role in improving the Burke-Gilman trail, a large, multi-use trail running through campus. Improvements will include better lighting, widening, mode separation and improved intersections.
Over the next 16 years, the University’s transportation department will invest $2 million each year in bicycle enhancements, and funding for the first four years of this initiative is already secured.
The University has been directly involved with the City of Seattle’s bicycle master plan and will continue to do so into the future.
