The institutional boundary for this report includes the University of Washington Bothell campus. Some additional properties owned and/or managed by the UW may be included as well and are identified in the notes section of applicable credit areas. UW Bothell shares a joint campus with Cascadia College, including buildings that are shared between the two institutions. All campus grounds, maintenance, and custodial efforts are run out of one central physical plant across campus.

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:

UW Bothell has the Eastside Leadership Center (ELC) in Bellevue Washington as well as other leased spaces. The ELC space is something that we do not have data on because it is not under our operational control, nor are the other leased spaces, including Beardslee Crossing and Beardslee Building. Both of those leasing contracts we are looking to terminate within the next one to two years upon the completion of our newest STEM building.
