A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

Since the March of 2020 and the onset of the COVID pandemic, we have predominantly focused on faculty and staff holistic wellbeing.  Our evaluations have mainly focused on qualitative feedback to support the responsive development a holistic wellbeing initiative for the campus community.  We have specifically aligned this work with our campus strategic priority of campus engagement and connection. The qualitative feedback has been obtained through individual interviews with managers and staff.  Specifically seeking areas of need/support for the campus community.


A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

Preparing for post pandemic workplace listening sessions were facilitated to ascertain considerations as we prepare for the post pandemic workplace. We facilitated listening sessions with the following groups: Black listening session, BIPOC listening session and White listening session to identify themes/topics to continue to support holistic wellbeing. We have completed contract with Gallup to initiate engagement, wellbeing and return to work campus-wide surveys and unit specific pulse surveys. The intention is to support both campus and unit-specific intervention re: engagement and wellbeing.
