A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
The Academic Division Staff Survey was distributed to 5,000 Academic Division staff in February 2011 by UVA's Center for Survey Research. An Advisory Committee, chaired by the Vice President for Human Resources and consisting of members nominated by the Employee Communication Councils, provided feedback in the planning and development of the questions; promoted participation among their constituency groups; and assisted in identifying priorities and developing recommendations from the survey responses.
