UVic has eleven certified LEED Gold rated buildings. The year associated with each building represents the year they were certified and should not be confused with the year they were constructed/opened, although in some cases certification was received in the same year. LEED Gold rated buildings are:
- Medical Sciences (2004)
- David Turpin (formerly Social Sciences and Math) (2008)
- Engineering and Computer Science (2006)
- Michael Williams Building (formerly Administrative Services Building) (2008)
- First Peoples House (2009)
- South Tower Residence (2011)
- Centre for Athletics Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA) (2017)
- Facilities Management Service Building (2019)
- District Energy Plant (2020)

There are two more buildings targeting LEED Gold with the certification status pending:
- New Student Housing and Dining Project Building One - Čeqʷəŋín ʔéʔləŋ (Cheko’nien House)(Opened 2022)
- New Student Housing and Dining Project Building Two - Sŋéqə ʔéʔləŋ (Sngequ House) (2023-2024 projected)

177,574.64 sq ft - RCH - Student Housing and Dining Building One - Čeqʷəŋín ʔéʔləŋ (Cheko’nien House) (complete) Passive House Certified, pending LEED Gold. This submission captured the Passive House certification, but LEED Gold will need to be captured in the next STARS submission.
