Staff Campus Sustainability Series: Sustainability staff from across campus are joining together to offer the Campus Sustainability Series through Professional Development & Training each fall. The series is open to all University employees and those who attend all five sessions will receive a certificate of series completion. 50 staff members attended the most recent series. Sessions include

-Understanding Our Food System
-Materials Management and Zero Waste
-The Imperative to Address Climate Change
Inclusive Excellence Symposium: The 2022 IES explores the intersection of diversity, equity, and inclusion and sustainability through a mix of in-person and hybrid events. UVM's Office of the Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is pleased to partner with the Office of Sustainability to bring together this symposium. 352 staff members attended.

At least one UVM representative is reimbursed for attending the AASHE conference each year. Office of Sustainability pays for students in the Eco-Reps program to attend external professional development such as the PLAN Students for Zero Waste conference and the Student Campus Sustainability Leadership Consortium conference. Office of Sustainability occasionally pays for other students to attend sustainability conferences
