A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
FACULTY: The week before classes begin each August, the Office of the Provost hosts a two-day mandatory New Faculty Orientation for all union-represented new full-time faculty. Part-time faculty are not required to attend, but are welcome to register, if they like. During day two we host a two-hour Resource Fair. Representatives from the Office of Sustainability, Transportation and Parking Services, Chittenden Area Transportation Management Association, Green Mountain Transit, and CarShare Vermont each staff a table during the Resource Fair, providing information on their programs, options, giveaways, etc.

STAFF: The UVM Culture and Community sessions that offered this type of information ended in June 2021.
