A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
CATMA, Chittenden Area Transportation Management Association surveys our students and employees about commute modes and behavior every 2 years. All campus communities members receive emails about this survey and reminder that attached them to a unique survey ID. The student collection ran from 3/6/18-4/16/18 and the response rate was 21%. The employee collection ran from 10/16/18-11/14/18 and the response rate was 34%.

Data from the 2017 Employee Survey and the 2018 Student Survey. Users were asked how many days a week they commuted by each mode. Percentages reflected in this data entry are for those who selected a mode that was used 4 or more times per week, with the exception of telecommuting because the instructions ask for 50% of more of regular work hours. Totals may not add up to 100% because of this method of collecting data
