Certain certificates may be earned by non-matriculated students. Students who are not already enrolled at the University of Utah need to submit a non-degree-seeking application. Regular tuition rates apply. These certificates include:

Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate In Sustainability
Open to any student enrolled in a graduate degree program at the University of Utah or non-degree seeking students with a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Non-matriculated students need a permission code to enroll in graduate courses. Nine credits from the certificate may be applied towards a future graduate degree.

Hydrology and Water Resources Certificate
Non-matriculated students need a permission code to enroll in graduate courses. Nine credits from the certificate may be applied towards a future graduate degree
