A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Sustainability Course Attributes (SUSC, SUSL) first appeared in the General Catalog and Course Schedule in Summer 2018.
The inventory includes one academic year, Fall 2021- Summer 2022.
Sustainability courses include:
1) Sustainability-Focused courses. Definition: have earned a SUSC course attribute
2) Sustainability-Limited courses. Definition: have earned a SUSL course attribute
3) Sustainability Inclusive Description. Definition: the course description includes sustainability language significantly related to SDGs or placemaking in the Salt Lake/Wasatch Front region.
Graduate and undergraduate courses are numbered as follows:
--1000-2999= Lower Division
--3000-5999= Upper Division
--6000+ = Graduate Level
The inventory excludes courses as allowed by the STARS Technical Manual. Courses with four or fewer students and courses with the following numbers were automatically excluded.
