Of the four primary guiding principles of the 2008 Campus Master Plan, three specifically focus on sustainability: "Functional and sustainable transportation; Capitalize on the natural landscape setting; and Leadership in environmental stewardship." Sustainability practices and guidelines are utilized throughout the plan based in these overarching principles.
