Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
In 2005 the University of Utah hired consulting firm Cascadia Consulting Group to conduct a detailed waste and recycling analysis for campus to aid in the design of a new campus-wide recycling program. All 2005 figures are taken from that report. Since there was no official recycling program in 2005, the recycling amount as reported is zero, even though individual staff, students or departments may have been volunteering to recycle some items.
