A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
“Plant Operations division of Facilities Management uses AHRAE 62.1 “Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality” as a guide. Many of the newer buildings on campus use CO2 monitoring to monitor air quality and to lessen energy use by reducing the amount of conditioned air wasted on ventilation. The University’s policy also addresses procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by establishing guidelines for conducting investigations, including air monitoring, in response to indoor air quality complaints or recognized adverse building conditions. In addition, the campus community can report any suspected facilities issues through the Dispatch Office.”
