A brief description of the model room:
A model eco-apartment unit will be included in the new Donna Garff Marriott Honors Residential Scholars Community building that is now under construction and scheduled to open fall 2012. The model unit will be paired with a standard one and both will be monitored for energy usage. The model apartment project was proposed by a graduate student who submitted it successfully for funding through the Sustainable Campus Initiative Fund in 2011.
