A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

UTM has made strides for the past several years in reducing fuel use in our campus vehicle fleet by right-sizing equipment (not purchasing a pickup truck when a golf cart would be suitable) and retiring older, less-efficient vehicles. UTM Campus Police use a hybrid vehicle for routine patrols.
