The VP of DEI worked with a group to assess and review various campus climate survey providers. The Higher Education Datasharing Consortium (HEDS) was selected to administer Pacific's first comprehensive Campus Climate Survey on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. The survey was administered to all employees (faculty and staff) as well as all students (undergraduate, graduate, professional) in the fall of 2023. It was open for eight weeks.

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:
The survey closed Dec. 2023 and findings will be released Spring 2024. Preliminary findings show 25% of campus community across all employee and student groups participated. Results will be benchmarked with those from other institutions and further inform areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement. DEI committees will utilize data to inform and strengthen initiatives.

Results are not yet compiled. When they are, they will be made available to the university community on my.pacific.edu and there will be multiple communications sent out about them to the university community.

Information about the HEDS survey and a downloadable copy of the base survey can be found at https://www.hedsconsortium.org/heds-diversity-equity-campus-climate-survey/ There are a few customizable questions but the main survey is the same to allow for benchmarking.
