Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
Yes
A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
Through partnership with San Joaquin Council of Governments and Stockton Mobility, an e-bikeshare program was piloted in the region. There were multiple hubs at Pacific's campus as well as throughout Stockton. Anyone could rent the e-assist bikes for a per minute fee. Those with an annual membership have a lower per minute fee and Pacificans received a discounted membership rate. The pilot program had to be paused by the partners and is due to restart spring 2024.
Lime scooters are available at the Sacramento campus through the City of Sacramento. Though the sharing program in Sacramento is not coordinated through the university, the service is used by students at the Sacramento campus.

A brief description of the car sharing program:
The university works with Zipcar to offer access to shared vehicles on the Stockton and Sacramento campuses. There are four vehicles on the Stockton campus in two locations and two to four vehicles on the Sacramento campus. All of the Stockton vehicles are electric. Vehicles are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all students, faculty, and staff ages 18 and older.

In each major parking lot on the Stockton campus, one to two parking spaces are reserved for those driving Fuel Efficient Vehicles. Any vehicle that has a valid CA Clean Air Vehicle decal may use the space.
Does the institution have one or more Level 2 or Level 3 electric vehicle recharging stations that are accessible to student and employee commuters?:
Yes
A brief description of the electric vehicle recharging stations:
There are eight, Level 2, dual port charging stations in eight different parking lots on the Stockton campus. The sixteen stalls explicitly for electric vehicle charging are available to parking permit holders M-F 8-5 and available to the public all other hours. A fee is charged. The four Zipcars on the Stockton campus have two dedicated dual port chargers as well.

Pacific provides a range of transportation options aimed at promoting cleaner and more affordable modes of travel for visitors, commuters, and residential students.
In spring 2023 a free student shuttle service with stops on campus and popular off-campus destinations was relaunched. Pacific also piloted offering discounted bus monthly passes.
Pacific also offers a number of amenities to promote more sustainable commuting practices.
Preferred parking spaces are available to employees and students who carpool or utilize low-emission vehicles (LEV). Skateboard racks are offered in a number of buildings, facilitating the secure parking of these alternative modes of transportation.
County resources for commuters like DIBS, SAC511 and Stockton metro bus are promoted at Employee Benefits Fairs and applicable student events. These resources offer valuable services such as a free emergency ride home, route mapping, and car/vanpool partner services.
Visitors, commuters and Pacificancs can now find information about all transportation options on one webpage.
