A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives:
Pacific has worked to reduce our GHG emissions in a variety of ways. The most notable is the installation of a 5.3 MW solar array system and 1 MW of battery storage on the Stockton campus. Additional measures include converting exterior lighting on the Stockton campus to LED and converting about 30% of interior lighting to LED. The next largescale initiative currently underway is performing an investment grade audit of all campuses to identify further energy conservation measures and opportunities for installation of additional renewable energy systems. There have also been a number of transportation related initiatives. Pacific has converted much of its fleet to electric vehicles. On the commuter end, Pacific offers EV charging infrastructure, a free shuttle, discounted monthly bus passes, LEV and carpool preferred parking, and connection to regional smart commuting resources.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Performance year emissions cover all three campuses for the 2023 calendar year. Inventory includes emissions from purchased electricity, purchased natural gas and waste disposal. The inventory is not a traditional pdf but an interactive website available to select Pacificans from which a number of reports can be generated. The general vendor website is: http://sustainabase.com/ Baseline Data was taken from Sightlines FY09 and FY12 report. 2012 FTE of employees was calculated using data acquired from HR. 2009 FTE of employees was calculated by creating a discount % from two data sets received from HR. With that equation, we calculated the students and staff FTE.
