A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):

The Green Office Program provides guidance and recognition to offices in their pursuit of becoming more sustainable spaces. The program outlines a list of actions to complete to get Green Office certified. There are four levels of certifications: seed, sprout, sapling and tree, with tree being the highest level. It is a unique opportunity for offices to foster professional development, build community and make a positive, measurable impact on campus sustainability efforts. Offices have about 2 months to certify, and are expected to continue practices throughout the remainder of the year. Certification can begin at any point during the year. Certifications are renewed annually. Each office has two liaisons responsible for understanding and sharing sustainability impacts of the actions and spearheading office actions.
