Support Services staff on the Stockton campus follow the following green cleaning procedures & guidelines: Utilize Green Seal certified Multi-Purpose cleaner; 100% water is used to clean external windows and glass; Paper towels are FSC and EcoLogo certified; Floor cleaning equipment utilizes pads made from 100% recycled materials and minimize the need for harsh cleaners; Utilize reusable, mop heads and dusters; Rags are made from recycled materials.
Facilities integrates energy efficiency into its regular operations. New equipment is replaced with more efficient equipment, Outdoor lighting is 100% LED and there is an ongoing effort to convert all internal spaces to LED.
Basic water reduction steps are regular practice: faucet aerators, low flow showerheads, faucets and sprinkler heads.
