The University does not advocate for public policy. However representatives do participate in local and regional conversations regarding programs and planning. University representatives have provided input on Stockton's Master Plan and has a representative on the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) Citizen Advisory Committee. SJCOG CAC provides input on regional transportation projects, air quality and other initiatives.
