Pacific's MSL program is designed for professionals working in water and natural resources fields. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of legal issues in and around water and the environment while helping them build a professional network.
Recognizing that water and environmental issues are both top societal concerns and are critical in policy development and government regulation across the state, nation and world, the program arms today’s environmental professionals with cutting-edge approaches to manage these diverse issues for businesses and developers, agricultural enterprises, non-profit organizations, local and state governments, and policy makers at every level.

Water and Environmental law lies at the intersection of environmental responsibility and society's use of and impact on the natural world. Local, national and international laws govern myriad aspects of environmental law and vary from an extremely specific to a very broad focus. The Water and Environmental Certificate of Concentration provides McGeorge students with an opportunity to deeply explore the body of knowledge necessary to pursue a career working in environmental issues or in environmental law.
