Lunch and Learns are offered 6 to 8 times a year where we have a presenter speak for 45 minutes on one of the dimensions of wellness- physical, social, nutritional, emotional, environmental, occupational, and intellectual wellness. Around 30 participants per session.

All UIW employees have access to the UIW Health and Wellness Hub offered through WebMD. This is an app that offers wellness challenges, blogs, articles, and resources to health and wellness links associated to all departments at UIW. We are starting our 3rd year with the application. Around 300 active employees.

Every March the department plans and hosts the UIW Health and Wellness Fair with over 50 vendors. All employees are welcome to attend to learn about health and wellness resources on the UIW campuses and within the city. Around 250 to 300 participants.

UIW Sports and Wellness is involved with hosting National Night Out on the UIW campus to educate employees on safety in their community and resources available to the associated health and wellness. Around 300 to 400 participants.

The University of the Incarnate Word offers multiple consulting sessions from TIAA-CREF to all full-time employees, supporting several of the UN's SDGs, particularly Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8).
