A brief description of the methodology used to track and calculate the number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health :

All incidents are documented by the D3 reporting system and reported by the Security/First Aid team. Each month a summary of all the incidents is recorded in a monthly and then a year-end statistics report. UFV implemented a new campus-wide ticketing system for employees and students to report any Incidents/Near misses, Hazards, Ergonomic Assessment needs, Workplace Inspection reports and Nonconformity issues. Employees can also request Safewalks and Personal Safety Plans if required.
