A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Methodology for Course Inventory:
1) A desktop research exercise was undertaken by a UFV co-op student to get a long list with course descriptions assessed for inclusion using the UN Sustainability Development Goals as screening criteria. Any courses that were applicable to one or more SDGs were included in the inventory of Sustainability courses.
2) After the initial list was complete, the co-op student met with the STARS consultant and core UFV STARS team to go through the list and update/revise
3) This list was then sent around to relevant Faculty department contacts to get their review and additions on courses that may be missing.
The result of that process was the list provided in the uploaded STARS Course Inventory. Following STARS reviewer comments upon an initial submission, the course inventory was further refined, with a number of ineligible courses removed from the inventory and discrepancies addressed.
