A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The University Initiative on Retention and Service Excellence is a campus-wide initiative launched to:
- provide faculty, staff, administration and students with a curriculum-based training and resources to enhance skills and effectiveness in their respective roles
- improve services and areas identified by results on the Student Satisfaction Index
Training sessions are available to all managers and staff at the university, and include cultural competency and diversity awareness components.
