Green Week @ UDC - The UDC Sustainability Initiative hosted a week of events aimed at students from September 19-24, 2011, which included nine separate events for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Green Living Expo - The UDC Sustainability Initiative hosted a Green Living Expo in concert with members of the community and the DC Office of Planning on September 24, 2011.
2011 Back 2 School Barbeque - UDC's Back 2 School Barbeque featured "Going Green" as its theme this year. The event eliminated bottled water and diverted more than 95% of waste from landfill through a new composting process for large events at UDC.
