Has the institution calculated a natural water balance for the campus to assess the sustainability of its water withdrawal?:
Yes
A brief description of the methodology used to calculate the campus water balance:
All water sources were determined by standard appropriate methods. Water utility volumes are metered, storm water volumes were calculated by rainfall and building surface area, and AC condensate was calculated by individual coil.
A brief description of how the institution’s water withdrawal compares to the natural water balance of the campus:
Total utility water consumption is metered at 172,925,561 gallons per year. Total Rainwater is calculated at 28,665,806 gallons per year. AC condensate is calculated at 7,475,485 gallons per year.
