Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement strategy that seeks to eliminate inefficiencies in a company's process flow by identifying the causes of waste or redundancy and developing solutions to address them. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes that connecting Lean and Six Sigma process improvement efforts with environmental initiatives can advance both efforts, delivering environmental and sustainability results faster.
