The Office of Diversity and Community Engagement is involved in the collection of information and developing programs to assess the universities climate. Using information gathered from the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, the Office of Strategic Planning integrates diversity initiatives into developing university commitments and goals.

The Office of Strategic Planning annually compiles information concerning racial and cultural backgrounds. This includes students, staff, and faculty with a breakdown based on gender.
