Review covers all courses in AY 2022-2023.
Courses with zero enrollment, duplicate sections, and individually-directed courses were removed within the final reported numbers.
Undergraduate courses include both upper and lower division courses. Graduate courses include professional level courses.
Courses with titles or descriptions suggesting sustainability content were identified and reviewed independently by two staff to determine depth of sustainability content in the syllabi.
Notable changes in methodology for 2024:

The Office of Sustainability continued the collaboration with university data analyst to create a course directory that reflects the data collected for STARS in an easily-sortable way.

Custom sustainability designations are used in this directory (Inclusive, Foundational, Discipline-Specific) to better align with campus priorities and sustainability initiatives
