A brief description of the independent monitoring and verification organization:
UT Austin joined the WRC in 2012 and has maintained its affiliation with WRC, listed most recently on WRC's affiliate page on June 23, 2021. UT Austin remains a member of the FLA as well, with their profile on the FLA site stating: "It has been a priority for us that products bearing our name are made in factories that treat workers fairly. That’s why we affiliated with the FLA, because it has the expertise, understanding, and global reach required to hold companies and the factories they use accountable."
