Environmental law is a constantly evolving field in the legal profession. Just decades ago there was little formal environmental regulation, and today there are a growing number of state, federal, and international laws seeking to curb environmental pollution and protect resources. The Environmental Law Specialist Certificate Program focuses on the legal regulations of pollution and waste management. You will gain a deeper understanding of federal environmental statutes, including the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Resource Conservation, and Recovery Act, and the Superfund law. The program is self-paced allowing you get started anytime and complete assignments on a schedule that is convenient for you.
