A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :

Courses with titles or descriptions suggesting sustainability content were identified and reviewed independently by two staff to determine depth of sustainability content in the syllabi.
Notable changes in methodology for 2022:
- Office of Sustainability collaborated extensively with university data analysts in streamlining access to course data and archiving of course designations
- Custom sustainability designations are used (Inclusive, Foundational, Discipline-Specific) to better align with campus priorities and sustainability initiatives
- UT Inclusive is equivalent to STARS Inclusive
- UT Foundational and Discipline-Specific is equivalent to STARS Focused
