A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:
The institution is an active participant in the Association of Physical Plant Administrators at the state and national level and takes a leadership role in planning and execution of training sessions, which in the past few years have dramatically increased their sustainability content.
Texas schools are currently working collaboratively to offer an annual summit to share presentations and knowledge across the state, as well as develop guidelines for professional advancement in the sustainability field. UT-Austin hosted the first Summit in 2013 and the second is scheduled at Texas A&M in February 2014.
