A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
o All new construction buildings on campus must meet at least LEED silver which has minimum diversion requirements.
o Additionally, the new Dell Medical School is pursuing the Sustainable Sites Initiative SITES certification (in addition to LEED certification) which has diversion requirements as part of its scoring system.
