Currently, UT-Austin does not have stated goals for greenhouse gas emission reductions, however, as natural resource conservation and other plans are developed (even though not driven by GHG concerns), the long term emission reductions will be calculated.

Currently, UT-Austin does not have stated goals for greenhouse gas emission reductions, however, ongoing efficiency upgrades in the campus power plant and nascent activities to reduce energy demand in buildings are resulting in short term emission reductions.
