Currently, UT-Austin has four major food service franchises operating on campus and plans to launch a conversation (not negotiations) on policy and guideline options and preferences for improving the sustainability of overall food service on campus.

Sustainability guidelines are used for the Division of Housing and Food Service's self-branded initiatives. The larger University has not adopted similar guidelines at this time for franchisees.
