Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
This course inventory was taken from 2009 and 2010 fall catalogs; therefore the list represents courses that were offered in the last two years. We contacted first the registrar, and then the Office of Information Management, to glean a count of unique courses offered at UT Austin. In the two academic years listed, 2008-2010, 5865 unique combinations of course numbers and departmental codes were identifed by IMA.
Our Sustainability Directory currently offers all sustainability related and focused courses without external discernment between the two types, but the 'backend' of the database allows for the extraction of each type. The next iteration of the Directory will have a 'STARS toolbox' that will allow the user to view only related or focused courses.
